I love the colors and oh so thin. I can't imagine turing anything that thin with spalting and possible pithyness. Very good work and nice finish.

On the right side of the stem, almost hidden, you can see a white spot on the base, that is the pith.

Actually I turned it off several times during the stem. With the pith right next to the stem, I kept getting a hollow that ran right down along the stem. I used a shop knife to trim it away several times.
