Pepperwood

This is,as always, Pepperwood, I know that it is only 1/2" longer to one side, but that's oval to me, I hope that is ok. I put two on the challenge page that were wider, but not as good.
This one isn't perfect, but the best I can do. I have never tried this before, so enjoyed the challenge greatly. I made it a ring bowl, don't know why !

It looks Good Leo.
Did you wire brush the rim or is that natural?
And what type of finish did you use?

Thanks guys,

The edge is natural..

I have put a thin coat of varnish/thinners mix on it as I didn't think a beeswax/canuba would work due to the shape.
