Spalted by Fire

Over Spalted Maple 6"x2"

Differences in wood density led to the crushing of the tenon on one side. The resulting bowl had wall thicknesses that ranged from 1/16" to 1/4" at the rim. Not wanting to waste wood I decided to get a little creative.
