This box was turned from a piece of firewood I have had for several years. It is spalted maple with an ebony finial.
It measures 3-1/2" dia X 5-1/2" tall.
Finished with lacquer and Mylands wax polish.
Some of the holes were filled with casting resin that I mixed with gold pigment.
