Kitchen Box

Canary wood and Lacewood inlays:
5.10"x2.67" diameter.

Finish is sanding sealer with carnauba wax (applied with the Beal 3-On buffing system).

I choose a simple form for my first "lidded-box", thinking that the inlay in the lid and the use of the collar would add interest to an otherwise simple piece. The vertical red striations help to align the grain.

Very nice, Chris. Making the spigot from a separate piece really lets you maximize the grain match. The inlay looks really good.
