Cherry

This was made from a mystery log I've had on the side of my house for months now. When Doug and Phil were here, we cut it in half thinking it was Camphor, but knew right away it wasnt. None of us knew exactly what it was at the time.After throwing a piece on the lathe, I discovered it was cherry. This piece is 20" tall with a stem just under 1/4". Anything smaller on the stem would not look proportional

For the coring of the bowl , yes, but after the cone was in, then it was just my finger

twenty inches... thats three of my goblets man...

I just can't believe 20 inches... dude, you and about 5 or 6 other people make picking a top three IMPOSSIBLE!!! Absolutely breathtaking!!! This is proof that it is the man behind the lathe, and notthe lathe itself,, cause i can't make my 1236 do this!!! Excellent work Jeff!!!
