MarleyTurned brought the goblet into work before it was done and it looked great. Then he went over the top by guilding the interior. Marley always does a great job! Nice work.

Very nice goblet; unique to say the least! For the carved support, were you inspired by the small green leaves from which some flowers protrude? Nice job.

Man, Thanks Soooo much you guys!
This was actually fairly easy to make.
I just turned the Bowl, reverse chucked it and finished the bottom as you would when making an egg. Then I turned a shallow bowl and cut out the prongs on the bandsaw, remounted it to the lathe and turned the stem and base.

To answer Jim's ?
I want to try this again and cut and carve the prongs to look like leaves.
I think that would be cool.
