This was my 4th shot at this challenge. I'm not sure what to call it other than a bias turning. It was turned from a block 4"x4"x5" to have a little for a tenon. Originally mounted corner to corner between centers, turned a tenon, reversed and mounted in talon chuck and hollowed somewhat leaving three flat sides. I had a very hard time with this and had to count my fingers several times while turning. It actually turned out a little over 4" in dia because the width is diagonal across the original block.
Spectacular Curt! What to call it? Who cares, it speaks for itself. It is beautiful in its originality as well as in its apparent simplicity. Well done!
Curt, after much due considerations and talking with Jeanne, I choose this one. It was a hard decision, they are all so beautiful. but this one is the choice. Look forward to seeing it in real life.
