Same bowl as other pics. I decided I did not like the other pics so I played around with the camera and back grounds a bit. Is this better. I think it shows the real color of the bowl much better.
Came from groves in Albany GA and it will look like this if you leave it sit out in the elements for a lot of years some of this wood spent several months on the ground as well before I moved it to a rack out side my shed I had dwon there and eventually moved it into the shed. If you look through my gallery you will see several pecan pieces and you'll notice that the one triangle piece is really a creamy color, that piece was protected and sealed indoors for several years before being turned.
If you get enough of it, it should be no problem waiting. That was my situation, I got a whole bunch of it when a friend had an extremely large tree cut down by the power company in her back yard.
