Sorry - I never saw your post in the Forum. I usually only read "Tips & Techniques", "Shop Pics" and "Classified" ads. I had to search for your name to even find it. I do not feel qualified to give others advise on any aspect of segmented turning. As I say in many of my videos, "I am not saying this is the way to do this, all I am saying is this is the way I am going to do it". I have had no training in any kind of wood turning. Since I found your post, I will go there and reply.
