Small elm/cherry hf

This little hf is 3.5" (5" with finial) tall and 7" wide with a cherry ring inset. Finial is also elm. 4 coats of home brew DO and buffed. Ren wax tops it off.

Interesting piece, I like the shape of the bowl but not to sure about the top. The cherry ring looks good with this piece but I'm still not sold on the part above the ring.
