Wormy elm hf 5x8 or 9x8 with elm finial. 5 coats of home brew DO, buffed and Ren wax. Really liking that Ren wax!
Sorry it took me soooo long to start posting again. Been turning but camera has been down.

Beautiful piece. Gives me the impression of a pear. Not sure I wouldn't like it better without the finial. Not a bad finial, just seems like an add-on to me. Maybe if the base from a bit more convex, continuing the line from the HF neck up the finial to your first waist. Not sure if that would do it or not. Might must be better without one all together. 8^)
