Chilean Mesquite - Approx 4" high x 3/12" widex 1/8"thick.
The bottom is totally round so it rocks, but if spun stays straight upright. Actually it isn't a bowl but a vessel or hollowform.
I like it a lot. Would fit right in if you displayed it in HI. They'd wonder what wood it is without a label, but they would like the shape and the round bottom. That round bottom is a nice touch too. I did one similar recently. Well done. 8^)
Another nice piece. These are fun to make and I always get lots comments when I show them off. You can't get something like this from most stores so they are always very unique.
Live long, love lots, and turn fast.
Thanks, the fuzzy lip is from when I buffed it out but that is not there now. That Linen wheel really makes a fuzz storm! It also had a crack that is filled with CA and coffee grounds.
