Extreme Goblet

This is an aspen goblet I made using a spindle steady I just finished making. The bowl of the goblet is right at the top of the trunk where the branches start so there are several branches and wild grain going up the side. Finished with spray-on spar varnish, it stands 14 1/2 inches tall and five inches at the top.

No. I didn't realize I didn't have the camera lined up all that well until now. The funny shadow in the background from the flash makes it look like you're looking at a 3D picture without the glasses. I need to buckle down and make a decent photo tent sooner than later.
