13 Ball
This is the 2nd in the series. I love making these little boxes. Not sure how it happened, but the lid has a bit of a snap fit. Had some trouble with this one and had to remake my chuck. Not so sure that it isn't much better now. In fact, I modified it after I completed this one. Next one should work out even better. Looking forward to getting started on it. Anyway, sanded through all the micro-mesh grits (wet) and polished with Hut's plastic glaze. Ended up holding it against the buffing wheel too to finish up the section that the chuck didn't allow me to get to. Should be fixed now. Finial is Black Locust with a coat of Minwax floor finish on it. LOML is suggesting just a knob on the next one. May have to give it a shot just to appease her. Who knows, she's usually right. We'll see. C&C welcomed.
