Good job! Ya paid attention. It helped that Paul showed all his little tricks that don't show up on his website. One thing someone said to me that I am going to mention to Paul. Use 2 smaller worm clamps instead of 1. It will help keep it in balance.
Nice job Rev, you have a great balance here complimented with a stylish finial that realy sets it of, (I am a snooker man myself but do appreciate guys who play with little numbers on the balls Ha Ha )
(Hey, hope it aint a discuised grenade)
"Jim - I don't think the weight of those clamps makes much of a difference.
Paul"
I agree. I used a sizable piece of mahogany that more than makes the difference of the clamp. I have even cut down my ball chuck and remade the fingers. The first ones were too long. After shortening them I thinned them thinking that I could get an easier grip. One finger broke on me. So, I cut them off and redid the whole thing. Works much better now. I will have to remake my spacer when I'm able to get back to finishing the 13 ball I started this afternoon.
Thank you Paul for giving us a private demonstration. It all worked out very well. 8^)
