So that is what Magnolia looks like. I have a large one in my yard and love the tree. However; if it ever goes down in a storm, it's mine. Beautiful box Carrie. I really like the beading on top.

I'm in a similar boat Stephen. The house we just moved out of has a large one in the front yard. Health Dept. has bought it and the word is they are going to tear the house down. If the do there is a good chance that the tree will come down as well. I've put my claim on it already. I love turning Magnolia. Smooth as butter. 8^)
