Silck Top Whorle Yarn Spindles

I made thes for the local spinning club. They ar use for spinning silk or very fine thread. They are form 8.5" to 6"long and weigh less than 8.5 oz. There is no finish. A finish could rub off on the thread. They are sanded to 1000 grit and then buffed with white diamond.
From left to right they are teak witha purle heart stem, poplar, poplar, mahogany with a figured maple stem, maple, and english walnut.
