Natural Edge Willow Vase

Another willow natural edge piece. This one is about nine inches tall and about six inches wide. Turned on the end grain green, allowed to dry as it was with the tenon on but partially removed. Then remounted to sand it down. The finish is spray on spar urethane.

Thanks. I was trying to do something new. I hadn't done a natural edge on the end grain for a while so I thought I'd have a go.

Glad to see willow used. I have made very pretty flatwork & furniture from it. Prettier than many think. Love the natural edge on this..real pretty
