This is my second Celtic Knot ornament I have made. I had to give the first one away in the C&T. I definatly had an easier time with this one and had a smaller opening at the top.

Very nice. And I just love the first one. You could have kept it and made another but I'm glad I have the first one.

I have someone that wants a cross necklace. I'm thinking of making a full rosary and making the center and outer ends of the cross with Celtic knots. So far I've had one blow up and a successful one on the end of a walking stick I made. They are a fair amount of work but fun to turn.

Rev. When I did mine, I just sliced off some thin sheets of a contrasting wood I had kicking around. It is not as easy as buying it but it sure saves a trip to the store and some cash.

I cut my own and drum sand it to match the thickness of the saw kerf.
