This piece of wood came from a hunting trip up in the Adirondacks area of Upstate New York. No luck hunting but this piece of wood turned into a really nice bowl. It is also the largest piece I have been able to turn on my Lathe. It is just a little over 11' in diameter.
Looks like it would make a great salad bowl, maybe popcorn bowl for the entire family. Then again there are days when I'd like to eat that much ice cream. Good work. On the next piece this size try keeping the curve of the sides moving instead of stopping and causing a flat section. I think you'll find it is even more pleasing to the eye. Great work. 8-)
