You are well on your way friend. I would second the advice that was given on the board. Get together with another turner, particularly a bowl turner and get your technique down. I believe that a couple of lessons will quickly take your work to a MUCH higher level. You are on a great path, however, I see a bigger, higher quality lather in your near future.

Thanks all, That means alot to me. My wife and kids arnt to thrilled with my work and I really havent shown any pieces to anyone but a few neighbors and friends. I still like to hear "WOW you made that?" LOL
I know that the woodworking background is helpful. You seem to take to turning naturally, and you do a very good job with it. I do not know much about segmented turning, but from what I see, you a good at it.
I think you have the segmenting and laminating down pretty well. I am just getting started in the segmenting area as well, but am no where near where you are. Really nice work.
