Cute idea. That would make a great gift for a girl. She could hide her rings and necklaces in them and have a bowl of nuts on her dresser.

I've been making these as well and placed a ornament loop on top so they can be hung on a Christmas tree.

The inside is big enough to hold a Hersey Kiss.

I keep coming back to this idea. I made some earrings for the boss for Christmas. I was looking for a box to put them in to give them to her then thought of this. Sadly, as a typical male, I had the idea and made the earrings too close to Christmas to pull it off.
