Stopper with button inlay

This is the first wine stopper I've made using one of the metal buttons that I found at the fabric store. Wood is oak, danish oil, Beall buff. I think it turned out nicely, the buttons are quite economical.

Nice. I know from crafting with my kids when they were little, some of these stores periodically put out a discount bin full of buttons that are odds that have been picked up off the floor or sat unsold for too long. Every once in a while you can find some gems for next to nothing.
