Texas Ebony Pen

Made this from a scap left from tex ebony. This was turned cross grain (not spindle orientation). Wood is very hard and doing it cross grain was a challenge. A few chunks broke off while roughing to round and this stuff likes to crack. Luckily I was able to turn the cracks out before I got to finish size. The hardware is antique bronze.
