Large maple bowl (the big boy)

Looking down from the top. you will see some early spalting and a streak of ripple/curl. thiw was a crotch piece and I broke the cardinal rule and left the piths in. You can see three of them. There was some cracking from them but I filled them in with sanding dust and CA and you cannot even tell they are there. FYI thsi was the big boiled bowl. All told it has been 6 months since I cut it from the downed tree.

Philip, that is a beautiful bowl!! Very smooth and good looking finish too. I really like the color and that crotch line of figure is outstanding.
