Black Locust bowl & spoon

Black locust bowl (3") and spoon. My wife uses this instead of the salt shaker I have yet to make. The spoon works well, especially for cooking. The slight burn mark in the spoon is from the Dremel I sued to finish the spoon. This is the first of many Black Locust bowls. Hard as nails but edge grain tear out is almost no existant. I'll take the good with the bad...

Glenn, good looking bowl and spoon. It is hard for my eyes to tell, but the finish appears to be smooth and semi-gloss. I understand that the Black Locust seeds are poisonous.

Nice work Glenn, neat project too. You could also leave the bowl portion solid and make a mortar & pestal set.
