Holey Buckeye!

Of all the questionable pieces of wood I have turned, this buckeye burl the was most likely to blow up. It survived! WooHoo!
It also made the juried art gallery at the 2010 Edmonds Arts Festival and the 2010 Lake Chelan Festival for the Arts.

Thanks for the positive comments. I'm sorry this pic has run twice lately. I can only blame it on operator error. I like to turn off the wall pieces and use chunks of wood most turners would prudently discard.
