Thanks very much, Bill. It has a couple of coats of DO in the pic, and is soaking in a bucket of DO as we speak. If it survives (:-), I'll maybe put a coat of beeswax on it. I think a matte finish is best for this piece.
Love it. Sometimes matte is the best. What ever you do, don't try to buff it. You'll have lint and buffing compound in every one of those little openings. 8-)
Absolutely beautiful work, Cathy. That's as perfect a shape (in wood) as I have ever seen. Sooo pleasing to the eye. A hearty well done to ya!!!
