I like what you have going here. The next one, try to take about 1/2 - 2/3's of that thickness out and you'll really have a very nice piece. Good looking curves and you did well keeping your bark on. You may work a bit more of mirroring the curve inside and out. Gives a sense of symmetry. Well done. 8-)

On this one the voids inside were opening up more and more as I cut out the dish and I ended up with lots of filler.It's almost completely hollow This was the second natural edge I turned and it was a good learning experience due to the oblong shape of the piece. Now I need to find a better piece of wood to start with!
