Appreciate the comments. I'm working on more details instead of sweeping coves. The aluminum is much easier to turn.

I find brass much "warmer" than aluminum, especially in combination with certain wood colors. This is just wonderful. I can think of nothing to improve it at all. I am working on including copper in my stuff, so we'll see if I can do as well as you have.

I agree Michelle, but it's harder to turn with details. Good luck with copper. I was told that the copper with berillium(sp?) content is more machinable than the regular stuff.
