Cremation Urn

This urn is for my friend Jan. Her instructions are that she is not to occupy it for a very long time. This is a companion urn to the one I made for her late husband.
This cremation urn is approximately 220 cu. in.
Starting front cap which is purple heart, maple burl, figured purple heart accents and bottom , the staves are makore. The finish is 27 coats of wipe on poly buffed and waxed on the outside with a table top varnish sealer inside.

the cap is unusual & I like it..the (english?) insert it pretty..the maple? burl is luxurious
