Here are a couple of photos of some bottle stoppers I made recently. They are made from Baltic birch plywood (you know those scraps you have sitting around you don’t want to throw away because you might use them someday. I finally used some.). I glued them together and cut them apart and glue back together several times to get different patterns from the layers. They are dyed with a water based fabric dye I bought at my local art supply store. The finish is multiple coats of Krylon Crystal Clear Gloss spray, lightly sanding between every couple of coats.
