From a piece of firewood Bruce brought over for practice. Nice firewood!
The cracks and a lone bug hole were filled with Coffee Grounds and CA.

Thanks for the comments. This piece started from such an ugly split of firewood I was amazed at the color and grain. Bruce gave me a big log of the same stuff which I hope to be roughing out soon.
