Am I seeing a touch of an outward swing in the upper portion of that curve or does it flatten out? Looks very nice. But if it does flatten out, you'll want to work at keeping the curve moving from the bottom all the way to the rim. Love the inward slopping rim too. Great 3rd bowl. You did really well. 8-)

It has a slight outward swing. Hard to tell in the pic with the shadows (I need to work on my photo skills and get a lighter colored background).

Thanks everyone!
I actually picked up 2 blanks, one labeled grey elm the other is labeled red elm (haven't cut into the 2nd one yet). In the raw, they look identical, we'll see if there's a difference when I turn the 2nd.
