Love that you included the knot in the side. On the two upper surfaces, are those flat, convex, or concave? I'm thinking it would be even more eye appealing if both upper surfaces were slightly concave. Not sure though. Maybe some of the other design gurus can help us out here. Love it regardless. Really nice. 8-)

LOL, I pondered whether or not to leave them flat. I ususally don't like flats but thought to give it a try on this one. I thought they might appeal to someone else. I'm willing to take a poll and hear all opinions!
I really like the knot too! The swirling grain around it picks up the light beautifully.
