This is a spalted Hackberry bowl made from a piece of wood I received from Leo in the wood trade (thanks Buddy!). It's 13" long X 3" tall with some crushed stone around the inside rim. Finished with sanding sealer, then a Tung oil/poly/mineral spirits mix and Beall buffed. Hope I did it proud, Leo. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome, Don L.
I WANT IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad to see you made good use of that old "ugly tree", a quote from the landowner that allowed me to hack away on his fallen Hackberry after Hurricane Gustav(2008). Great Job!!!
Thank you Michelle, Dave and Tom! I appreciate your comments.
Leo- Sorry, a deals a deal. lol Hope you make good use of what you were sent. Gee, I feel bad now.......no I don't. Thanks for the wood and thanks for the thumbs up.

Just unbelievable. I look at your stuff and think I should go down and kick my lathe, instead of turning on it. But it's not the poor lathe's fault ....
Cathy, don't kick that nice lathe. You're doing very well and the lathe wants to help you do more. I'm sure the two of you will be making some very nice things for a long time.
