Hi Frank..all 4 bowls you posted today have great wood. I like spalted birch 1 the best as it's a simple shape & friendly looking.

I too have looked at all 4 pieces. Great work Frank, I think I prefer this one, as I can see the problems, that you might have had.

Ruining lots of good wood to get a few average bits.

Thanks for the comments folks. It's a good thing that spalted wood is interesting. I live in the spalted capital of the word. A Rain forest has a way of reclaiming its wood even if you don't want it to.
