As a new turner I think your bowls are improving very quickly. Spalted wood is at times hard to sand & finish well. this one looks good. Keep 'em comin'

Michelle and David - thank you. Yes, I had a little trouble with the sanding, as some of the soft spots wanted to sand away more quickly than the surrounding wood. Took lots of patience.
