Rose Bush Pen
Finish is CA, then waxed
This was turned from a rose bush cutting from pruning last year. I was not sure if it would work, but I think it came out ok. I think a bit more tweaking and I can improve it. Loml has many rose bushes for my supply.

What a fantastic idea and a fantastic result. That's a beauty. Is your wife a recipient of one yet? Her friends probably wouldn't believe it's from one of her rose bushes. Very rich looking wood. Nice work.

Very nice looking pen. If you take any rose bushes out, save the root balls - they make wonderful turnings.
