Twin Maples 11"x4"

This bowl was made from a plank that was cut in half and laminated together. One of the black lines is hiding the seam. Finished in 6 coats of poly. All comments welcome. Herb

beautiful piece.
i like the way you think outside the box.
you have a beautiful piece of wood but it is not thick enough to make a bowl,
lamanate it and use a feature to hide the joint.
the end affect is a really nice piece.
i may try that in the future.
i can see i need to spend a lot more time on finishing my pieces so they look as nice as yours.
