Nice job Leland. That's some gorgeous wood she picked out. My eye tends to keep being diverted to the dark line though. Other than that little thing, you did some job for your first (good) bowl. Keep it up!

For your first Bowl, IMHO, this looks great, I too am not too sure about the line, but to practice this sort of line or anything new is always a good thing to do, the only way to learn is to try things out. Well done.
