My grandfather was a WWII vet and bricklayer by trade. When RA crippled & burned out his joints, he was left with clubs as hands. Yet he designed and sewed quilts for all his grandchildren. I wanted to honor his memory (he's been gone 50 yrs) and make a quilt from wood. This is what I came up with. Thanks Grandad, I still have the quilt.
The work is outstanding, you can tell that a lot of love has gone into these, he will be smiling and very proud of you. Lovely job Michelle
Ruining lots of good wood to get a few average bits.
