Willow Hat

My first attempt at a hat and it fit the intended head perfect on the first go! I turned it while green, a little over sized, and when it warped to oval it fit perfectly. Finished with shellac and a light spray on lacquer final coat. The willow was claimed from some trees bulldozed down on a construction site. Such a waste of some lovely old trees.
