This bowl is from some maple logs a buddy brought over. This piece is for him. The bark just came right off but I liked the shape so left it semi-natural edged. I did a little shaping with a Dremel and put some green on the edge. About 11" wide X 6" tall. Finished with tung oil and Beall buffed.
Thanks for looking and all comments welcome,

Don, I have told you before.........stop it, far too good. I was supposed to be trying to catch up with you, but you just ran away and got tttooooooooooo gud 4 me. Love it.
Ruining lots of good wood to get a few average bits.
Pretty piece Don. I really like the way your oriented the blank. That "off center" look makes it even more appealing than the standard positioning would. The foot seems to work quite well with the form too...Bill...
Your orientation of the log was just perfect. The shape divine. The foot perfect and the wood gorgeous. Looks so light that it would float! Me thinks I like it.
