Good job Herb. On the next one I suggest that instead of the rim/neck having a diagonal and vertical line coming together, you have a sweeping curve from the top of the neck to the edge of the collar. I believe you'll find it is more pleasing to the eye. Nice work though. I love the warmth of honey locust. 8-)
Yes I like the Locust, its hard but cuts well and has a great finish to it. I agree the curve might be more appealing and had that belated after thought. Thanks guys. Herb

Thanks Leo.Yes if everything you make is all curves then it would seem you would be limited to curves only. There are straight lines in nature too. Sometimes I like to blend the two for something diffrent.There are actually 3 flat surfaces on the rim of this round bowl. Kinda works for me too. Herb
