Pepperwood double sided candle holder.

The center/centre of this tree was like a soft cork, so I decided to make a double sided candle hlder out of it, one side natural and the other ( next pic. along ) using the vinegar, steel wool etc. method.

BTW. 10" wide. I realise that the tool marks on these pics. show, but they are just test pieces and would appreciate comments on design etc. etc. the final finish was not too important to me on these, but will be next time. Thank you.

Hi Leo: Never heard of a double sided candleholder..Innovative! Isn't it hard to decide what to do with wood? What does it want to be? How much of the pretty stuff can one cut away? Personally I hate that process, so I segment!!!HA Hope folks have ideas for you. Give your cats a pet from me.
