Stave Vessel

This was made for a friend who is a big OU fan. It was hard to make because I'm a Huge OSU fan.It's 7" tall made out of Bloodwood,Maple,Ambrosia Maple and White Crushed Stone.

You seem to love making stave vessels. I like to make segmented, but have shied away from staves. I find it hard to design a stave vessel that doesn't have conflicting grain issues. How long have you made these vessels, and how are they handling the expansion/contraction at the conflicting glue lines? Your color combos on your vessels you have posted here are very nice.

I've been making them for about 8 months.On some of the glue lines where I'm doing a segmented ring Iv'e notice alitte movement but have never had any come a part since it is such a small area of conflicting grain.
