No Tom I didn't & I don't know why not. I sanded to 400 then use shellac and sand again at 400. No clue, except the shellac sticks all the goo to the sandpaper as it heats.??? Then I use ee cream and use a good bit of papertowels and refresh them often..that leaves my surfaces just shiny and clean..then I used a couple coats of thinned lacquer..I may have buffed, but I don't remember. But the bowl is shiny before I use a hard coat finish. Thanks all for the comments.

First Class Michelle. I don't do segmenting and this is one reason why, I don't think I would ever achieve this sort of skill level.
