Salt and Pepper mills

Here are some salt and pepper mills with real billiard ball tops. The wood bodies are made from curly maple (#7 & #15) and madrone (#13). They are ten inches tall. To fit the billiard ball, I drilled a one inch hole about a half inch deep and epoxied a hard maple tenon in to attach the drive plate.

More great work. Good to see the madrone wood. I have some that I purchased and everyone who has seen it says it isn't madrone. Looks identical to yours though. 8-)
